Regulatory toxicologist

Christian Novello is a toxicologist graduated from the University of Milan (Italy) in toxicological risk assessment, with a focus on computational modelling gained at the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research. At Innovatune, he provides comprehensive support to the consulting services offered to Industry. He is also responsible for the implementation of various projects commissioned by international stakeholders, including regulatory authorities. Christian has acquired experience in the application of in silico methodologies (QSAR, read-across) for the evaluation of chemical hazard to human health across multiple regulatory fields (pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, etc.). Meticulous data collection, critical interpretation of in silico predictions and the preparation of comprehensive assessment reports are key aspects of his work. Christian is also involved in promoting the use of computational methods by presenting at international conferences.
